Modesto police investigating deadly crash on Sylvan Avenue
Officers are investigating a deadly crash along a major thoroughfare in north Modesto on Tuesday morning.
Modesto police say the crash happened on Sylvan Avenue, near McReynolds Avenue.
Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear, but police confirm at least one person has died.
No other details about the crash have been released.
Due to the investigation, Sylvan Avenue is closed between McReynolds and Roselle avenues.
