Modesto Police Searching For Burglary Suspect

MODESTO (CBS13) – Police are looking for the final suspect in a commercial burglary that happened early Wednesday morning.

According to the Modesto Police Department, officers tried to pull over a trio inside of a car near Sylvan Avenue and Oakdale Road around 4:30 a.m. Police say that the car sped off, starting a short chase that lasted about half of a mile.

The car stopped near Floyd Avenue and Vera Cruz Drive and the trio bolted.

As of 7 a.m. Wednesday, police say that two of the men had been detained. The third suspect is still on the loose. Police have not released a description of the final suspect.
