Modesto Home Depot Employee Stabbed By Alleged Thieves
MODESTO (CBS13) — A Home Depot employee was stabbed trying to stop a theft in Modesto on Tuesday.
Modesto Police say two men tried stealing two tool kits priced at about $150 each. When an employee stopped the men and asked if they had a receipt, one of the suspects had a violent reaction.
"One of the guys had a sharp object near his side, and reached up and stabbed the victim in the shoulder," said Modesto Police spokeswoman Heather Graves.
The employee is expected to be OK.
