Missing Rio Americano High School Student Considered At-Risk Found Safe

Thursday Update: Nicholas Sheehy has been found safe, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says.

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) – Authorities are asking for help in finding a missing teen considered at-risk.

Nicholas Sheehy, a 15-year-old Rio Americano High School student, was last seen leaving his 1900 block of Wingfield Way home Monday morning, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

Sheehy is considered at-risk because he has reportedly never been missing before and the behavior is out-of-character.

The teen was last seen wearing a tan Sherpa hoodie, jeans and Nike tennis shoes. He stands about 6'3'' tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

Anyone who sees him or knows where he might be is asked to call the Sacrament County Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115.
