Folsom Unified School Bus Driver Retiring After 44 Years

FOLSOM (CBS13) – A beloved bus driver is retiring at the end of this month after working for more than four decades.

Betty Summers has worked in the Folsom Unified School District for 44 years. All these years, she's worked with students with special needs.

But at 79 years young, "Miss Betty" says she's is ready to start her next chapter.

Last week, Summers was honored with the Classified Employee of the Year award from the school district.
