Crews Battle Brush Fire Near Sloughhouse
WILTON (CBS13) – Crews are battling a growing fire in the Sloughhouse area.
The scene is on the 13000 block of Apple Road. The fire was first reported just after noon Thursday.
The fire has burned about 40 acres, according to Cal Fire. Sacramento Metro Fire originally reported the fire to be about 100 acres in size.
Winds helped fan the flames.
As of around 1 p.m., the fire was 60 percent contained. It is unclear what caused the fire.
