Merced County Murder Suspect Shot Dead In Turlock

TURLOCK (CBS13) – Authorities have shot and killed a man wanted in Merced County for killing two people late Friday night.

According to the Turlock Police Department, officers were called to the Motel 6 along the 200 block of S. Walnut Road early Saturday morning. The officers were summoned to help Merced County Sheriff's Department deputies in their search for a wanted murder suspect.

The suspect was shot and killed by authorities around 5:20 a.m. at the Turlock motel.

Police say that the man was wanted for shooting and killing two people along the 11000 block of S. Lander Avenue late Friday night

The identities of all people involved in the incident have not been released.
