Math And Baseball Come Together For Students At Raley Field

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Baseball and math came together for a friendly competition at Raley Field for the 4th annual Fantasy Baseball Math Tournament.

More than 100 fourth- through eighth-graders teamed up in pairs of two to learn difficult math concepts with fantasy baseball.

The kids use statistics from individual players to calculate the probability of different outcomes, like hits, strikeouts and home runs.
