Marysville Teacher Accused Of Inappropriate Relationship With Student
MARYSVILLE (CBS13) – A Marysville teacher has been arrested, accused of having sex with a student.
Investigators say Thomas E. Mathews Community School teacher Laura N. Lasek was arrested and booked into Yuba County Jail Friday. She is facing numerous charges related to unlawful sex with a minor, according to Sgt. Chris Sachs with Marysville Police.
According to police, the minor allegedly involved with Lasek attended the school.
Lasek, 26, has since bailed out of jail.
