Body Found In Water At Turtle Beach In Manteca

MANTECA (CBS13) — Detectives in Manteca are investigating after a body was found in the San Joaquin River on Wednesday.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said the body was found in the water at Turtle Beach. A fisherman called 911 after finding the body face down in the water.

Investigators were still on the scene late Wednesday afternoon. They said the case is being investigated as suspicious in nature.
