Manhunt In Modesto Comes Up Empty

MODESTO (CBS13) -- A manhunt unfolded in Modesto Wednesday morning.

Police were near Sheldon Drive and Carver Road looking for a male suspect who led them on a chase after officers tried to pull him over.

The scene was near George Eisenhut Elementary School. The school was not under lockdown and the perimeter was lifted before classes begun.

Police have broke the perimeter after 7:30 a.m. and have not found the suspect.
