Wragg Fire Flares Up, Mandatory Evacuations Ordered In Solano County

SOLANO COUNTY (CBS13) - The Wragg Fire has flared up and is prompting mandatory evacuations.

High winds from the north fanned flames at the south end of the fire, causing it to jump a primary fire line. It now stands at 150 acres.

The secondary fire line is still in place, say fire officials.

As a result of the flare-up, evacuations are in effect for Sky Ranch; Mix Canyon Road and Gates Canyon Road; the west side of Pleasants Valley Road from Cantelow Road to Gates, including Pleasants Ranch Area and other private roads on the west side of Pleasants Valley Road, according to a statement from the Solano Sheriff's Department.

Deputes are going  door-to-door telling residents to evacuate. Animal control officers are assisting with animal evacuations as needed.

An evacuation center has been established at 10000 Ulatis Drive in Vacaville.

Editor's Note:  A previous version of this story listed the incorrect location of the evacuation center.
