Man With Loaded Shotgun Arrested Outside Stockton Police Station

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Officers have arrested a man who they say was sitting outside the police department with a gun.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon. According to the Stockton Police Department, staff reported to officers that there was a man sitting in front of station who said he was armed with a gun.

Officers went out to confront the man and soon found that he had a loaded sawed-off shotgun.

The man, identified as 28-year-old On Thamala, was arrested without incident, police say.

Thamala has since been booked at San Joaquin County Jail and is facing numerous weapons charges.
