Man Who Hit Kevin Johnson With Pie Will Remain Behind Bars For Now
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The man who hit Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson in the face with a pie will remain behind bars, a judge ruled on Friday.
Sean Thompson's bail will remain at $100,000.
The judge also included a protection order to keep Thompson away from Johnson, despite the fact Thompson remains behind bars.
Thompson's lawyers argued he's not a danger to society and he should be released on his own recognizance.
