Man Shot On Sacramento I-80 Overpass Dies

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police say the man who was shot on a busy Interstate 80 overpass on Thursday has died.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. on Norwood Avenue near the I-80 ramp.

Officers who responded to the scene found a man in his car who had been shot. That man, now identified as 19-year-old Christian Torres, was transported the hospital.

Police say Torres died on Friday.

A homicide investigation in the incident has now been launched. Detectives say they have not been able to identify a specific motive for the shooting.
