Man Shot And Killed At Stockton Apartment Complex

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Police are searching for suspects who shot and killed a man inside a Stockton apartment complex over the weekend.

The shooting happened in the 4500 block of Shelley Court at around 8:20 p.m. Sunday, according to a Stockton Police Department statement. When police arrived at the apartment complex, they found the 44-year-old male victim who had been shot. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the victim was trying to calm down a disturbance when two Hispanic males in their early twenties approached him, and one fired.
