Man Run Over By WWII Tank In Fairfield Identified

FAIRFIELD (CBS13) – The man who was accidentally run over and killed by a vintage tank on Saturday afternoon has been identified.

The accident happened a little before 2:30 p.m., west of Fairfield on a private field owned by the Jelly Belly family.

Fifty-five-year-old Kevin Wright from Suisun City was riding on the 1944 M-5 tank when he lost his balance and fell directly in the tank's path as it was going downhill, say CHP investigators. He was run over and died at the scene.

The tank's driver is 62-year-old Vacaville resident Dwayne Brasher
