Man Found Shot Dead Inside Car In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Investigators are still looking for the suspect involved in a shooting and death of a man in a south Sacramento neighborhood.

Sacramento police say it all started with a call about a shooting at 21^st Street and Matson Drive around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Officers arrived on scene but didn't see anything until they reached Balfour Way and Matson Drive, where they found a car had driven into the pole.

A closer look revealed the male driver had multiple gunshot wounds and was dead.

There is currently no suspect description.

And police are not releasing the identity of the driver at this time.
