Man Found Dead In Front Of Tahoe Park Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man was found dead in the front yard of a Tahoe Park home, and police are calling it a homicide.

The man's body was found in the front yard of a home on 59th Street.

Jeffrey Morgan lives up the street from where the man was found dead on Sunday afternoon. He says there's a lot of traffic coming in and out of the home.

"I just see different cars coming through, sketchy people," he said. "I have watched it deteriorate and become what it is now."

Kristal Reynaga describes the neighborhood to be quiet and peaceful, but says she always felt uncomfortable passing by the home.

"It's never really looked right. It's always stood out," she said. "It was very eerie to me."

Sacramento Police say the victim was in his late 30s. Officers found the man in the front of the home, saying he was "actively bleeding" when they arrived before he died.

Police won't say how the victim was injured.
