Man Dressed As Deputy Accused Of Stealing Power Tools From Manteca Home Depot

MANTECA (CBS13) - A man dressed as a deputy is suspected of stealing power tools from a Home Depot in Manteca.

On October 26, 2016, the man walked into the store and threatened to use pepper spray. He then took the power tools and left, according to a Manteca Police Department statement.

The man is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s with a goatee. He was wearing a sheriff's baseball cap, a green long-sleeved shirt, tan pants, and boots. He appeared to be wearing a bulletproof vest, but wasn't carrying a badge or a gun.

He may have driven away in a black Ford Explorer.
