Man Dies After Being Found Unresponsive At Heavenly Ski Resort

LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) - One man is dead after he was found unresponsive at Heavenly Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe.

The 18-year-old from King's Beach was found at around 11:30 a.m. in upper Nevada Woods, an expert area at the resort that is currently closed, according to a statement from the resort.

Ski patrol personnel were notified of the incident and were able to provide basic life support for the man until firefighters arrived and transported him to a place where he could receive further medical aid.

Details about the man's injuries are unknown at this point. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
