Man Dead After Shooting At Busy South Sacramento Parking Lot
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man is dead after a shooting in a busy south Sacramento parking lot late Sunday morning.
The scene is at the parking lot of the Home Depot and Wendy's near Meadowview Road and Freeport Boulevard. Sacramento Police say that just before 11:30 a.m., someone in a car opened fire at another car.
One person inside the car was hurt and had to be taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man later died.
The Wendy's restaurant had its windows hit by bullets from the shooting, but no one else was injured.
Investigators have not released the name of the victim or a description of the suspect's vehicle.
