Google Says 'Man Bun' Is One Of The Most Popular Hairstyle Search Terms
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (CBS Sacramento) - Google knows us so well. The search engine shared results of the latest trend in hair styles.
Thanks to celebrities like Harry Styles, Jared Leto and David Beckham, the man bun has exploded as one of the most popular search terms of the year, reports Newzy.net.
"The barbering trend took off a few years ago," explained Google. "Men are trying to understand how to do a low fade, high fade, a short or long comb-over."
Among the top searches are "how to grow a man bun" and "how to tie a man bun."
"Braids" and "insane hair color" also topped the list of search terms.
"There's a ton of content out there" regarding man buns and comb-overs, noted Google, but relatively little advertising or content from brands.
