Man At Center Of Denise Huskins Kidnapping Trial Could Plead Guilty

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The suspect in a bizarre kidnapping could be pleading guilty on Thursday.

Matthew Muller is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday morning for a change of plea hearing.

Muller is suspected in a bizarre kidnapping that police once called a hoax. The one-time attorney and Harvard graduate Matthew Muller was arrested in July 2015 the after the kidnapping of Denise Huskins.

Huskins went missing in March 2015, prompting a days-long search for her. She was found at her parents house a few days later and hundreds of miles away, leading the Vallejo Police Department to call the case a hoax.
