Man Arrested In South Sacramento For DUI After Hitting Gas Meter With Truck
A driver is under arrest after crashing into a gas meter outside an apartment complex in south Sacramento.
Just after 2 a.m. Monday, the truck ended up lodged between a fence and the complex itself on 41 Avenue Near Franklin Boulevard.
Police say one gas meter was damaged and PG&E crews had to be called out.
No one had to be evacuated from the complex.
Police arrested the driver on suspicion for DUI.
