Man Arrested In South Lake Tahoe For Shooting At Truck

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) - Police arrested a man on Wednesday who allegedly fired a gun at a vehicle in South Lake Tahoe.

At around 4:40 p.m., police received multiple calls reporting a man shooting his handgun at a car on Fawn Way.

Police investigated the shooting and say it stemmed from a dispute between the victim and Angelo Anderson, 22, of South Lake Tahoe, as the victim was getting into a pickup truck. According to a police statement, Anderson made inflammatory remarks at the victim, and as the victim was driving away, Anderson allegedly pulled out a gun and fired three shots at the truck.

The victim was not injured, but one bullet hit the truck.

Anderson was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into an inhabited vehicle. He was booked into the El Dorado County Jail in South Lake Tahoe on $100,000 bail.
