Man Arrested For Allegedly Attacking Regional Transit Bus Driver

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) - A Regional Transit bus driver is recovering after being assaulted by a passenger.

Around 9 a.m. Wednesday, the bus was traveling on Roseville Road, near Longview Drive, when the driver and Kasiah Harris, a 22-year-old passenger, had some sort of confrontation and the Harris allegedly assaulted driver, according to an agency spokesperson.

Some of the other passengers came to the aid of the driver. The suspect took off but was eventually caught by police.

The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police have not released the name of the suspect.
