Man Arrested After Crashing Car Into Stockton Home

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police have detained a man after his car crashed into a home early Friday morning.

According to the Stockton Police Department, officers spotted him driving around north Stockton just before 5:30 a.m. missing three tires and hitting curbs.

After a short pursuit, the man crashed into a home on Royal Oaks Drive.

Officers say the driver at first refused to get out of the car, but surrendered after a brief standoff.

Police suspect the man, who has not been identified, was driving under the influence.

It appears no one was injured in the incident.
