Man Accused Of Stalking Stockton Bank Teller, Assaulting Police Officer

STOCKTON (CBS13) – A man is behind bars and accused of assaulting a Stockton police officer.

Police say 30-year-old Julian Bryant had been making unwanted advances toward a bank teller for months.

He was allegedly acting strangely Tuesday, so the teller called police.

Officers used stun guns to try to subdue him, but Bryant punched one of the officers in the head. A bystander and the branch manager of the bank then jumped in to hold Bryant down until more officers showed up.

Bryant was eventually taken into custody and booked at San Joaquin County Jail. He is facing felony stalking, battery on an officer and resisting arrest charges.
