Man, 73, Stabbed In Attempted Robbery In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) - A 73-year-old man was stabbed during a robbery attempt in Stockton on Thursday evening, police say.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the man was walking near Swain Road and Alexandria Place when, around 7:30 p.m., three people - including a man armed with a knife - confronted him.

The suspects then told the man to give up his stuff, but he refused. A struggle ensued and the man was stabbed, police say.

The three suspects were last seen heading towards Pershing Avenue. The 73-year-old man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
