Man, 30, Fatally Shot At Antelope Home

ANTELOPE (CBS13) – Detectives have arrested a suspect for the fatal shooting of a man at an Antelope home early Thursday morning.

Deputies were called out to the 7900 block of Blackfoot Way home a little before 1 a.m. for a reported shooting, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. At the scene, a man in his 30s was found to have been shot.

The man was taken to the hospital, but he soon died from his injuries.

Detectives have identified a 25-year-old acquaintance of the home's occupants as the suspect. The man, identified as Citrus Heights resident Gregory Sandlin, has been arrested as is facing a murder charge, detectives say.
