Man, 20, Shot Dead Along Fulton Avenue

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – A young man is dead after a shooting along Fulton Avenue early Sunday morning.

Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies were called to a business along the 1900 block of Fulton Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Sunday after dispatchers got multiple reports of gunfire in the area, the department says.

Deputies found a 20-year-old man in the parking lot who had been shot. That man was soon pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives say that the man was one of the five people shot in the incident. The shooting looks to have stemmed from two different fights between a large group of people in the parking lot, detectives say.

The 20-year-old man's identity has not been released as of Sunday afternoon.
