Man, 20, Shot And Killed In Waterford

WATERFORD (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating a shooting in Waterford that has taken the life of a 20-year-old man.

Deputies say that they started fielding calls around 9 p.m. about shots being fired along the 500 block of C Street. Once in the area, deputies found a shooting victim near an SUV in the Waterford Community Center parking lot.

The young man looked to have been shot multiple times. Deputies say he was soon pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are investigating the crime scene and interviewing witnesses. The victim has not been identified by detectives.
