Major Injuries In Fairfield Motorcycle Crash

FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — Roadways will be closed for the next several hours on eastbound Waterman Boulevard between Waterman Court and Capitola Way after a single motorcycle collision resulted in major injuries, Fairfield police said.

Police said the motorcyclist went off the roadway and crashed into a brick column, then hit a stoplight pole.

Officials said it is unknown at this time if speed was a factor. Police do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors.
