Magnitude-4.0 Quake Rattles Desert Area In San Bernardino County

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. (AP) — A small earthquake shook the high desert around Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California.

The US Geological Survey says the magnitude 4.0 quake struck at 7:32 a.m. about 39 miles northwest of Twentynine Palms in San Bernardino County.

A sheriff's dispatcher says there have been no reports of serious damage or injuries.
