Lodi Tattoo Shop Owner Offers To Double Reward In Search For Assault Suspect

LODI (CBS13) — A Lodi tattoo shop owner says he wants to double the reward in the search for a suspect in a bathroom attack of a professor at San Joaquin Delta College.

Josh Hughes, the owner of Emerald Tattoo is doing his part after seeing the video of the suspect.

"This was somebody at work doing their job in what we would think is safe area," he said.

He's offering to match the $1,000 reward for information leading to the suspect.

"It could have happened to one of my customers, could have happened to my employees, my wife," he said.

Police say the woman seen on surveillance video hid in one of the stalls and ambushed the professor, stealing her jewelry and leaving her with potential long-term damage and a concussion.
