Lodi church bell dating back to 1800s recovered after theft
A historic bell that belonged to a Lodi-area church for more than a century has been recovered after it was stolen.
The bell was stolen from St. Anne's Catholic Church on May 14.
Lodi police recovered the bell Tuesday, but it was damaged in the theft and apparently split in two.
It is unclear how police found the bell or if any suspects have been arrested.
