Local Cop Tries To Bust TV's "Pawn Stars"

ELK GROVE (CBS13) - What happens in Vegas won't stay secret much longer for Elk Grove's Chris Trim.

The 25-year veteran police officer is a contestant on a new game show called "Pawnography,"  featuring the History Channel's "Pawn Stars" Chumlee, Cory, and Rick Harrison.

"Rick is a smart man," says Trim, who flew to Las Vegas to be on the show.

Contestants like Trim compete against the pawn stars to answer trivia questions. Prizes are from the Las Vegas based pawn shop's collection of unusual valuables.

The prize Trim tries to win is a signed piece of sports memorabilia.

Trim is not allowed to reveal the outcome of the show until it airs on Thursday, but says it was a "great experience."
