Lightsaber Battle In Downtown Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — May the 4th be with you!

Lightsabers lit up the night at Fremont Park in downtown Sacramento on Saturday night.

ALSO: California Legislature Declares May 4 'Star Wars Day'

Star Wars fans of all ages dressed up as their favorite sci-fi movie characters and showed off their expert moves in a massive lightsaber battle.

The opening of the new Disneyland theme park, "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge," opens on May 31st.
