Light Rail Train Hits Car; Woman, 2 Toddlers Hurt

RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) – A woman and two toddlers are recovering after an accident involving a car and a light rail.

The incident happened Thursday morning in Rancho Cordova at Folsom Boulevard and Hazel Avenue.

Sac Metro Fire says the woman has moderate injuries while the toddlers, ages 1 and 3, have minor injuries.

Officials say the car suffered major damage.

The cause is under investigation.
