SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A boy has taken it upon himself to create a community of kindness aimed at helping those in need.

His name is River Sharp. The 7-year-old and his 9-year-old brother Ryder started something called Tower of Niceness. It's just the kind of thing two kids would come up with.

About three weeks ago, they had the idea to help out those in need.

"I spread the word, tell your friends, tell your family, don't forget to donate," said Ryder.

They aren't done yet. Next month, the Tower of Niceness will be delivering toys to kids in hospitals, all making their dad pretty proud.
