Kevin Johnson, Webber, O'Neal, & Divac Nominated For NBA Hall Of Fame

The 2016 NBA Hall of Fame nominees were announced Monday, 12/21/15.  NBA.com reported that the most high-profile of these nominees include Yao Ming, Shaquille O'Neal, and Allen Iverson.

Sacramento will take a special interest in this group because two former Sacramento Kings players have made the list. Current King's GM and former big man, Vlade Divac was nominated in the international category. Other candidates in this category include Nick Galis, Toni Kukoc, Dino Radja, and Ming.

Chris Webber is also among the nominees for 2016. He is a carryover from previous years. Another carryover is Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson.

Class of 2016 will be named on April 4, 2016 in Houston. The enshrinement ceremony is scheduled for September 9, 2016 in Springfield. Check out the full list of 2016 NBA Hall of Fame nominees here.
