Jennifer Lawrence's 'Hunger Games' Song Headed For The Top 40

Actress Jennifer Lawrence may not like her singing voice (as she memorably declared on a recent episode of Late Show With David Letterman), but nevertheless, it seems she's about to have a hit single anyway.

According to Billboard, the Oscar-winning actress' "The Hanging Tree," from her film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part I, will likely hit the Top 40 of the Hot 100 this week.

The song, performed by film composer James Newton Howard featuring Lawrence on vocals, may sell upwards of 150,000 downloads in the U.S. in the week ending Nov. 30.
