Isleton Shooting Victim Identified As Hallie Jay Beaver, 79

ISLETON (CBS13) —The coroner's office has identified the victim in Sunday's shooting.

Hallie Jay Beaver, 79, was shot to death in his home on Sunday. His wife, Leona Beaver, found him on the floor after she was awoken by the gunshots.

Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a neighbor they believe was behind the shooting.

A man who lives nearby told CBS13 he knows the Beavers and the man on the run.

He says the Beavers were high-school sweethearts, married for more than 50 years.
