Injured Hiker Rescued By Helicopter In Sonoma County

SONOMA (CBS13) - Rescue crews saved a hiker this afternoon in Salt Point State Park who suffered an ankle injury and was stranded seaside on rocks near the ocean.

Upon locating the woman, it was decided that the most efficient way to reach the victim was by a long line from a helicopter. The victim was placed on a Bauman Bag rescue device and flew her to a nearby ambulance for treatment.
