Idaho Fugitive Arrested After Posting His Location On Facebook

It's been a good week for law enforcement officials using Facebook to search for criminals.

Good Day Sacramento reported earlier in the week that Andrew Dale Marcum of Ohio was arrested after he commented on wanted photos of himself posted by the Butler County Sheriff's Department. He was wanted for felony burglary/safe cracking, felony abduction, misdemeanor assault; and domestic violence and criminal endangerment.

Here's the comment he made on the post:

Then on Saturday, Joey Patterson, 22, of Boise, Idaho, who was wanted for violating parole, reportedly posted a Facebook update saying he was going to be at a softball field in the nearby town of Caldwell, the Idaho Statesman reports. Guess who showed up?

Patterson was arrested without incident and booked into the Canyon County Jail. He is reportedly being held without bond on a felony warrant.
