Ice Blocks Project Developers Optimistic Midtown Sacramento Plan Is Salvageable

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Developers of the Ice Blocks Project in Midtown Sacramento were disappointed to see the momentum they'd built up slowed by a devastating fire.

Investigators have been trying to find a cause for Saturday's fire, but for now it's just a wait-and-see game.

Investigators are speaking to witnesses and gathering evidence. The cause remains unknown and it's still not safe for firefighters to enter.

Developers are optimistic that the new blank slate, as they call it, may allow for even greater opportunities and less limitations.
