I-80 Shut Down Near Truckee

TRUCKEE (CBS13) -- CHP tells CBS13 it has has shut down westbound Interstate 80 near the Agriculture Center in Truckee following what CHP has described as a "major incident."

The incident, on which the department will not yet elaborate, occurred at 3:55 this afternoon. Traffic was stopped at 4:10 and remains at a full standstill.

There is no timeline for the highway being reopened.
