Hunter Pence's Stolen Scooter Returned

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - San Francisco Giants right fielder Hunter Pence's now-famous stolen scooter has been returned.

The customized motor scooter that he rides a few blocks to every home game was returned to the Giants' clubhouse during Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Clubhouse chef and scooter designer, Joe Day, posted a photo of the scooter to his Twitter account and thanked San Francisco police officers for returning it.

Pence had said his scooter was stolen outside a restaurant on San Francisco's waterfront Sunday night. The scooter has fascinated fans since Pence arrived in a trade from Philadelphia in 2012, and the Giants even gave out bobblehead dolls of Pence on the scooter at a game earlier this season.
