House Burned In Stagecoach Fire In Calaveras County

CALAVERAS COUNTY (CBS13) – Crews are continuing to fight a pair of wildfires in rural Calaveras County that started Tuesday.

Wednesday, Cal Fire officials said that a home was burned in the Stagecoach Fire, which is burning south of Copperopolis. Officials did not say where the home was located.

The Stagecoach Fire has burned 35 acres and is now 75 percent contained.

Another fire, dubbed the Pacheco Fire, is also burning in Calaveras County. The Pacheco Fire, which is burning south of Valley Springs, has burned 341 but is up to 20 percent containment.

Cal Fire is continuing to investigate the cause of both fires.
